Summary
A study on effect of combined NPK application on Arabica coffee in Huong Hoa, Quang Tri was carried out in 2000 – 2001. Different combinations of NPK mineral fertilizers significally influenced the growth and development characters and bean yield of Arabica coffee cultivar Catimor on basaltic soil in Quang Tri province. Bean yields were obtained in the descending order: NPK, PK, NK and NP. It also showed that the application of nitrogen and potassium fertilizers to Arabica coffee was more effective and economical than phosphorus in terms of bean yield. However, no significant differences among the applications of two element combinations NP, NK and PK were found. Keywords: Arabica coffee cv. Catimor, NPK fertilizer combinations.
