A series of tomato hybrids (F1
) was tested to identify hybrid combination with
enhanced quality of products and fruit setting ability at high temperature. Evaluation
results showed that most of hybrids were heat tolerant under hot and humid conditions
in spring - summer season. Most of the hybrids gave high yield and fruit quality,
suitable for processing and fresh consumption (fruit with red colour, thick flesh,
firmness, attractive appearance and high level of Brix...)
